Nursery

Sunday was my first day in Nursery. I loved it! Which is surprising when I'm as attached to my parents as I am...

Mommy and Daddy didn't have to come in once to console me. I did great!
This is my drawing of my hands. Isn't is pretty?
Now my parents get to pay attention again in church. They were so proud of me!

Sesame Street Exhibit

On Tuesday, Mom took me to this Sesame Street exhibit in Salt Lake. It's only here til May, so we had to jump on it before it was gone. It was all about the body, and it was so cool! Elmo was everywhere, so was Big Bird, and I had so much fun just walking everwhere and looking at everything. The next few posts will document my experience.

Mommy thought this picture was cute because it shows my Dolly attachment. You will see it in every picture, every video, etc. because Mom tried to pry it out of my hands so I could play better and it didn't work.
Here's me trying to dress Elmo appropriately for snow weather. I'm the expert you know, living in Utah. :)

Now, this video is me meeting a likeness of Big Bird. I didn't know he was so big!

ELMO!!

This was the high point of my day. So, Elmo only visited the exhibit once every other week, and only for a 2 hour time block at that. We just happened to be there at the right day and time. Cool, huh? It was AWESOME! Here's a picture and a video to show you.

This shows a little of my excitement to see the real live Elmo. He's a little bigger than I expected.

At the end of the day...

By the end of the trip, we were both tired and happy. It was a great day.
This is me smiling as always for the camera.
And this picture is evidence that Mom is usually with me all the time, even though she is usually behind the camera and not in front of it. :) And she wants to let you know that it's hard to take a picture at arms length with a baby stroller in the way.

Beach House

Last week, Mom and I went to a beach house in California. You see, Mom's sister Rebecca rented it and was nice enough to let us tag along for a while. Besides, Dad was in Texas on business anyway. My goal was to make Mom miserable, and it worked! Well, just a little. I enjoyed crying all the time, especially when she left the room. But at least she had some fun during my nap times. :)

Of course, whenever she gets out the camera, I'm all smiles.
This is right in the back yard of the house. Cool, huh? Look how close the water is!
Mom basically lived on the beach that week, so like I said, I tried to make her miserable, but who can be mad when the beach is in the back yard? :)

Daddy transformed

This is my Daddy. It was his birthday a couple days ago. Isn't he handsome?
Well, Mommy and Daddy were playing with Dad's mac the other day, and this is what they accomplished...
Hilarious! And he bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain villain I know...
There you go. My dad was the inspiration behind Syndrome from The Incredibles.

Yogurt

So, Mom's been reading this book series lately, the first book being called Uglies by Scott Westerfield. She's onto the second book (Pretties), and tries to find ways to tend to me and still read. She's also been teaching me to feed myself with a spoon and fork. So the other day, she puts me in the high chair with some yogurt and a spoon, and sits and reads while I'm eating. She must have been engrossed for a few minutes because she looks up and this is what she sees:

While yogurt is very good, I thought I would use it as shampoo. Needless to say, I needed a bath. I had very nicely kept it off my clothes though. Weird how that works...
Yesterday was Dad's birthday. It started with breakfast in bed (I was still sleeping), taking surprise cake and balloons to his work (I went with Mom on that one), and dinner out (Again, I was not included). Unfortunately, Mom didn't remember the camera on any of these activities. Sorry! But it was very fun. Happy Birthday Dad!

Catch up

I know it's only been a week or so, but here are some pictures to catch you up on what's been going on around here. Despite the fact that it's FREEZING here in Utah, we've been able to have some fun.

These are some bunny ears that Nana and Grandpa gave me for Easter.
I kept the ears on for a while. Aren't they cute? And do you notice my Dolly with me? Yep. I can't even eat without her by my side.
This is Andrew. Mom takes him every morning so his mom can go to the gym. Isn't he cute?! We have fun together.

This one shows my amazing skills on the phone. I'm already turning into a teenager.
