Peace out

Well, if you haven't noticed, I haven't posted in a while. To be honest, I'm much too busy as a 3 1/2 year old to be keeping a blog. I've decided to let my mom keep her blog, and I'll either guest post on her blog, or just tell her any updates I want you, as my adoring fans, to know.

A few of my phrases lately:

My new title for Laney is "Princess Laney of the Gospel," in an announcer's voice, of course.

The new thing I say now instead of "Holy cow," or, "Oh my goodness," is "Holy Spirit!" My mom stopped me from saying that though. She said it was not good to say in that kind of sentence. Something about it not being appropriate. I told her it's in one of my primary songs, but she still said it's not okay.

Anyway, please go to my mom's blog if you're interested in keeping updated with my life. That is all. You may go now.

My very own pictures

Mom let me use the camera, and these are the pictures I took.

I think photography is in my future. :)

Daddy and Polly Pocket

Daddy was feeling sick last week, so I helped him out. Blankets, toys, etc.

We play a lot of Polly Pockets in our house. Here's the usual set up. Today, it was Samantha's birthday. She made out like a bandit.

And of course, Laney was jealous of all the picture-taking going on, so she hammed it up for a picture too. She's such a cutie!

Easter

For Easter, we got together on Saturday and did an Easter Egg Hunt with my friends from our little community. And because it's Utah and we all go to the same church, we did it between General Conference Sessions on Saturday. Or as I like to call it, "Church on TV."

We all waited in the clubhouse. It was pretty cold outside.
Here I am hunting for eggs. It was so fun! Laney was sleeping. Oh well.

And here I am ready for church in my Easter dress the week before. Mom wanted to do my hair all fancy, but I wanted to match Mom's hair. And she keeps herself pretty simple on Sundays since Bishop Daddy isn't there to help take care of us. :) And again, Laney was sleeping. Poor girl. I promise to get pictures of her soon. She was very cute that day too.

More Addie and Grandma

If you didn't see Mommy's blog, this a continuation of it, kind of.

After Addie came to stay, we went to visit Addie at her cabin. Her family goes skiing during spring break. We played for like an hour in the hot tub. Yes, that is snow behind us.
Grandma was hanging out in the cabin too, and then she came to stay with us for a day. She is SO GOOD at playing doll house. Honestly. Mom thought about recording it and selling it, it was that funny. I was cracking up the whole time. I wish I could play doll house with grandma all day long.
Thanks for playing, Addie and Grandma! It was a blast.

Curlers and cuties

Mom tried curlers in my hair one day where there wasn't anything that we had planned for that day. I was very patient and let her put them in, but then was very impatient waiting for my hair to dry. Every five minutes I'd ask her if it was time to see my curls.

She ended up taking them out a little too early, and the curls weren't picture worthy. But it was still cute.

This is what Laney does when Mom pulls out the camera. She still smiles and hams it up, but prepares herself for the flash. And she has her favorite toy, the remote. She LOVES turning on and off the TV.
If you are curious about who we had to visit, you can go to my mommy, Cassie's blog.

And they lived Happily Ever After....

This is what I do, well, all day. I create fairy tales. This was in the bathtub. Quincy and June are dancing on top of the soap, and I had to frame them with a pretty necklace. Aren't they cute?

Nature vs. Nurture

This is how I sit. No coaxing or prodding from Mom. When I sit in my chair, this is how I do it. Do you think I sit like this because I see Mom do it? Or because I'm a girl and I just know to sit like this? I'm not telling. You'll just have to think it over in your mind...

And of course a picture of Laney. With no bow, but still cute.
