Holy. Monkeys.

Aren't these cute?! Laney is of course adorable, but I'm definitely cute too. I was so good for this photo shoot, I did whatever they told me to do. I didn't smile very big, but that's okay. My face doesn't need it. :)

Thanks to Brekke Felt, for the Amazing photos, and for coming to my house to do it.

Laney

She arrived last night, after 12 hours of induced labor. I was at home asleep in my bed. After all, it was at 12:15 am.

Delaney Lindsay Wernli. 6 lbs 15 oz. Just shy of 7 lbs. 19.5 inches. And oh so cute. I met her this morning, and I was very soft with her. I even whispered while talking to her. Every time she moved on the bed, I would say, "It's okay Laney." Official birthdate: 2/12/09

About to pop

Here's the most recent picture of Mommy. You can see she's not too happy about posing. One of her sisters says she looks deformed. What do you think?

Wednesday's the big day! I get to see my baby sister. Yes, it's two weeks early, so let me explain a little. I was 8 lbs. 10 oz., which was too big for Mommy. It made for a very hard delivery and harder recovery. I was 5 days late and still had to be induced. What can I say? I was comfy in there. So, Mommy went to her doctor and asked to be induced early so she wouldn't have such a big baby this time. The doc said they would do an amnio on Wednesday and if Laney's lungs are fully developed, we can go ahead and induce that day. Yeah! So, let's hope we have some baby pictures by Wednesday night. :)

Mom is a Rockstar

Yes, we got a rental camera. From Best Buy. Mom just stood her ground until the manager caved.

Okay, that's not true. The manager was actually really nice about everything. He knew it was their fault that we would not have a camera for my little sister's birth, and upon seeing my mom's massive tummy, he found a camera we could take with us. We had to buy the battery, memory stick, and charger, but he assured us that they were all refundable within 30 days, so we would get our money back.

So now Mommy has a new toy. Here it is. The Sony cybershot with a touch screen. It is pretty awesome.

She's been taking pictures ever since we got back from Best Buy.

Here's Daddy. This is what he does when Mommy asks him to pose for a picture.

This is me right after my nap. Doesn't my hair look awesome?

We went over to Andrew's last night to play. Though you can't tell from our faces, we were having a blast.

Again, a non-smile face. But I'm still cute.

This is Ernie. Mom and Dad had him declawed a couple weeks ago, and this is all he does now. It is so nice! Now I don't have to keep running to Mommy saying "owie" because the cat scratched me.

Here I am after church today, taking care of my Dolly. In front of me are at least 6 bottles, all of which have to be lined up for me to use for Dolly. Yes, I have to use all 6.

I have a great "cheese" face, don't I?
As you can see, Mommy has been taking a lot of pictures to make up for lost time. Yeah! We have a camera again!
