FOOTBALL!!

Mommy and Daddy are fortunate enough to know an incredible mentor and friend who gives them BYU football tickets. So, today was the first game of the season, and we all went along. Sadly, Mom forgot the camera. I know, I know, I was upset too. But here are some pictures from one of last year's really cold games. Today was really hot and completely opposite, but it still shows how cute I am. :)

I did so good! I started a little afraid of the cheering and the noise, but by halftime I was clapping with Mommy at the good plays. I got tired toward the end (it was my bedtime), but I did so well, the lady next to Dad even commented on it. It was really fun, and we have a lot more to look forward to!

New addition

A couple weeks ago, my parents finally took down my canopy on my bed. This is what it looked like:

Sadly enough, each time my mommy took me out of the bed, she would have to watch out for the canopy, because I was getting pretty tall. So, they decided it was time to take it off. It was very cute though, and we all loved it. Well, the wall looked pretty plain, and Mommy had an enrichment project to do, so we found the perfect solution:
Isn't it cute? And it matches perfectly to my colors on my bedset.
Mommy is NOT a crafty person, so even painting a board and sticking on stickers was a stretch. But it turned out really cute, and it is a perfect addition to my bedroom! (the colors don't come out perfect on this last picture)

Sunday

Sunday, Daddy had a serious case of the flu. He basically spent his time in the bathroom, and laying outside of the bathroom. I decided I wanted to hang out with him nonetheless.

Here I'm trying to share my crackers with him.
Doesn't look like he wants any...
I was trying to sympathize with him here. I wanted him to know I cared. :) Plus, I thought it was pretty goofy for him to lie on the floor, so I joined him.

The Zoo!

Sorry for the post drought. I kept asking Mom to upload my pictures, but she never did for me til this week. She's so lazy! :)

Last week, Daddy was nice enough to take Friday off so we could go to the zoo. Sadly, I had never been til last week. But it was so fun! Here are some pictures and videos of my experience. And here are some highlights:

Mommy had to spend $55 on a jacket for me and a blanket for her because it was windy and freezing the first hour we were there. Oh well. We weren't prepared for cold weather in August! Stupid gift store prices...
The bird show. Oh the bird show. Mom thought I'd love it because I love birds, but I didn't know they'd be flying right in front of me and over my head! I was terrified! (See below video for proof) And they wouldn't let us leave until the end of the show because it would scare the birds. What about me?! Mom and Dad thought it was cool though.
This is my reaction to any animal I didn't know. Porcupines, weird looking monkeys, orangutans, anything. And Giraffes. Didn't like giraffes.
Mom got a smile out of me while looking at elephants. Elephants are cool.

I also refused to eat cotton candy. There is a reason it has that name- it looks like inedible cotton! No way that was going in my mouth! Enjoy the next few videos. My parents enjoyed making fun of me with them.

I was terrified of this orangutan

I really like reptiles though

I liked the rabbits

Since the rabbits were so popular, Mom thought the bird show would be great. Not so much.

The farm

The very next day, Daddy surprised Mommy with a manicure, pedicure, and massage he scheduled for her in the afternoon. Isn't he great?! So, while she was off getting pampered, Daddy and I went to the farm animal exhibit at Thanksgiving Point. It was fun. Here are a few pictures and a video.

Daddy did my hair all be himself. Not bad, huh?
I'm just trying to feed the cow.
He's so close to me! And I wasn't scared. Weird, huh?
It was a fun day with Daddy, and a fun weekend full of animals!

News...

I finally get to tell you that I'm going to be a big sister! Yes, Mommy's pregnant. She's about 12 weeks along, and her due date is February 25th. I can't decide if I want it to be a boy or girl... Either way I get to mother it just like my Dolly. :)

The Beach!!!

So, we're finally back from our vacation extravaganza, and because Mom's not that smart, she only took her camera out in California at the beach, and only two days' worth at that. Oh well. There's still some cute photos...

Grandma's holding me while I sleep. Aren't I cute?
I'm so GLAD to have Grandma back!!! She's been in Germany for 18 months, and as you can see, she still hasn't lost her touch. Heaven forbid I sleep on the comfy pad in the cabana you see behind me. But this is much more comfortable. :)
I have rediscovered sand, and this year, I didn't like eating it. Yeah! Sometimes I didn't even like it on my hands. It usually took me about half an hour to get used to having it all over me, and then I was good to go.
Where's Lexi? Can you find me amongst all my cousins?

Beach 2

See that food in my hands? I usually had something with me to munch on at all times.
Our family setup. All those cabanas and umbrellas belong to Mommy's family. Whenever you were in the water, you knew exactly where we were. Sadly enough, not the whole family was there this year.
Some of my cousins buried in the sand.
Not me, but oh so cute! This is Addie giving her big sister Kylee a kiss. Thought it was adorable, even though it's not me.

Beach cont.

This is what I saw Mom doing all the time, so I decided to see what the fuss was about.
I don't know why she likes this book. There's no pictures!
So cute, I know. This is Daddy going to play with me in the water. My favorite was going about up to my chest and getting knocked over by the waves. Seriously. As long as Dad or Mom had my hands and kept me above water, I LOVED the waves moving my legs around.
Grandpa, Dad's dad, had business in San Diego, so we got to see him while we were there. It was so fun! He's the best. Now whenever I see pictures of Grandpa, I say, "Pampa!"
Sleeping on my Daddy. That's the only way I would sleep during the day, and usually for 2 1/2 hours, so whoever was holding me had to stay put for a while. Naturally, they would fall asleep too. :)
Also, do you see that hat on my head? You will notice it's ALWAYS on my head. That's because I would freak out if you took it off me at the beach. That's right. I'm that nice to my parents. I never got burnt. But sometimes it made sleeping a little uncomfortable...
